Method Race Wheels set out in 2009 to build the kind of wheels that real off-road racers actually needed — lighter, stronger, and smarter than what was available at the time. Founded by Kevin Fitzgerald, Bud Fitzgerald, and Colby Groom in Temecula, California, the brand's motto — Lighter. Stronger. Faster. — isn't marketing language, it's a design brief. Method has validated that brief through victories at some of the world's most demanding events: the SCORE Baja 1000, the Dakar Rally, and King of the Hammers, each of which places extreme demands on wheel construction and integrity. The brand's patented Bead Grip technology — a series of precisely machined grooves in the bead seat — provides tire retention at lower pressures without the weight and complexity of a traditional beadlock, offering trail capability with DOT-legal highway use. Wheels are constructed from solid A356 aluminum with a proprietary T6 heat treatment process, available in cast, flow-formed, and forged constructions.
